The rules that sit behind every Smart Paint Home quote in BDT, from Gulshan apartments to plant shutdowns.
These terms govern painting and related coating work quoted by Smart Paint Home from Gulshan 2, Dhaka. A written quote accepted by call, email, WhatsApp, or signature is the job contract. If a clause here fights the quote, the quote wins for that job.
You confirm you can authorise work at the address, including landlord or building committee permission where required. Access delays caused by missing permission are not our breach.
Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and are valid for the period printed on the quote. After that we may remeasure, especially if dampness or colour coverage changed.
Quotes assume the substrate described. Hidden distemper, active leaks, or a much darker existing colour can require extra coats or extra prep. Those are variations, written before we proceed where possible.
Scaffolding, after hours work, parking, and mall or plant permits are included only if listed. Silent extras are not a courtesy we can absorb on every Gulshan duplex.
Printed decks and phone photos are guides. The locked colour is the on wall sample you approve, or a written code if you waive sampling.
Natural light in Gulshan rooms changes greens especially. After approval, a change of mind is a variation, not a defect.
You provide water, reasonable electricity, and a place to store tins safely. You tell us about pets, children, and fragile objects before day one.
We protect floors and furniture as described. Items left in the work path after we asked them moved are at your risk.
You or a named agent should be reachable each day for decisions. Unanswered colour questions pause the clock rather than guessing.
Exterior and some industrial coats depend on weather and plant conditions. We may pause without being in breach. Time restarts when conditions allow.
Events beyond reasonable control including political shutdowns, severe flooding, or building lockouts pause duties on both sides until work can resume.
Unless the quote says otherwise, a booking deposit starts procurement, and the balance is due on substantial completion of the agreed scope, before the final snag visit if materials were fully used.
Corporate jobs may follow an invoice cycle printed on the quote. Late sums may pause remaining work and warranties.

Workmanship covers peeling or flaking caused by our prep or application under normal use, for the period on the quote.
Not covered: new leaks, structural movement, abuse, harsh cleaning, other trades damaging the film, or products you forced against our written advice.
Industrial chemical spills and hot tyre pickup have their own limits on the quote. Read them.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as delayed events, lost rent, or production downtime beyond what the quote expressly accepts.
Our total liability for a job is limited to the fees paid for that job, except where Bangladesh law forbids a limit, including death or injury caused by our negligence.
You must insure your own contents as you normally would. We carry care, not a replacement policy for every object in a Gulshan home.
We may photograph work for records. Public use of interior photos needs your written OK. Exterior street views of buildings may appear in portfolios unless you forbid it in writing before we start.
These terms follow the laws of Bangladesh. Courts in Dhaka have jurisdiction, without limiting either side’s right to seek urgent relief.
If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays. We may update these terms on the site for future jobs. Live jobs keep the version in force when you accepted the quote.
